Why We Built This

EmblemComp.gg was born out of frustration. As a dedicated TFT player who's spent countless hours climbing the ranked ladder, I kept running into the same problem: you get an emblem from an augment or a drop, and you have seconds to decide what to do with it. Should you pivot? Does it even fit your board? Which comp actually wants this emblem?

I'd alt-tab to various tier lists and comp guides, but none of them answered the specific question: "I have THIS emblem, what are my best options RIGHT NOW?" So I built the tool I wished existed.

After hundreds of games testing emblem strategies and analyzing match data, EmblemComp.gg is the tool I wished existed. I use it every session and keep improving it as the meta shifts and feedback comes in.

Who Builds This

EmblemComp.gg is built and maintained by one person — a long-time TFT player who got tired of alt-tabbing through tier lists that never answered the actual question: "I have THIS emblem, what do I do with it?"

What goes into the recommendations:

• ◆Aggregated match data from millions of ranked games (via MetaTFT) — the statistical backbone.
• ◆Real play: recommendations get sanity-checked in my own games, and when the data and lived experience disagree, I dig into why before changing anything.
• ◆Patch-by-patch upkeep: emblem pages and guides are updated as the Set 17 meta moves.

I'd rather show receipts than credentials: every comp on this site displays its sample size and average placement, so you can judge each recommendation on the data rather than on who's making it.

Our Mission

We believe every TFT player deserves access to high-quality strategic information, not just those who can spend hours researching. Our goal is simple: help you make better emblem decisions in the 10 seconds you have to decide.

Our Data & Methodology

The numbers here aren't guesses — recommendations are powered by real match data:

• ✓Data Source: The site aggregates data from MetaTFT, which collects millions of ranked matches across all regions and skill levels.
• ✓Daily Updates: Composition statistics refresh daily to reflect the evolving meta. When patches drop, the data adapts within 24 hours.
• ✓Breakpoint Analysis: The algorithm specifically identifies when emblems push compositions to new trait thresholds, which represent the biggest power spikes.
• ✓Spot-checked in play: Data informs the rankings; my own games sanity-check them. Data informs, experience validates.

The site shows placement averages, pick rates, and game counts so you can evaluate the statistical confidence of each recommendation. Transparency matters.
